EDIT: 9-10-20 Disappearing Tasks was FIXED by installing an Updated Ver of Robointern. I NOW have 10 Tasks vs the previous LIMIT of 8.
Triggers for .xlsx File Changes seem to be much better Vs having to manually Run, which is Still OK.
Looking for Donate box and will when I can find it. Great App I'm still learning (ie) Dual Functions on same Task..
===================================================
This should show (currently) 9 tasks I setup and in a day or two Task #9 -- will Disappear. I have created 3-Income (#9) MULTI-TIMES.
IS there a Task Limit or some explanation/ trick to keeping All Tasks?
8 tasks seem to stay OK, just After #8 that they disappear.
BTW, Some Tasks don't work automatically but I do a Manual RUN and THAT is helpful anyway.
When I Save a new Monthly PDF Statement to a Folder on the D: Drive I want the app to Copy it to the Same Folder in a USB S: bkup drive.
After setting up the Copy function Paths D to S ... the Trigger of - File Created - and the Path entered in D: for where the Save To of the New PDF File goes, -- OPEN -- is all that's offered - SO I'm using the wrong Logic - IF this can be done at all.
I think that I've found reason why I'm getting error on some tasks.
There could be an error on On Time trigger. If I set any task to trigger e.g. every 1 hour and shut down/hibernate my computer, and time to execute task will be during shut down/hibernate time, then app shows an error.
Look at this:
I've restart one of my tasks, and then hibernate computer. After wakes it up shows me na error, which I mention also in Delay action topic:
because my computer wasn't turned on in Next run time.
I had to modify my other task, because it has similar work to do (download file every few hours), but with one more trigger (computer starts/wakes up). So it does'nt execute after shut down/hibernate time. I've deltedt On time trigger and it looks task is running after computer's start/wake up.
I posted a brief review of RoboIntern here in the AutoHotkey user forum.
As RoboIntern (at least in my limited experience so far) runs AutoHotkey programs without complaint, I expect AutoHotkey users will be interested (I hope so).
(It wouldn't surprise me at all if AutoIt users could benefit from RoboIntern as well, but I don't have a whole lot of experience with AutoIt.)
Might I suggest setting the trigger in the supplied examples to "No trigger" initially, with perhaps an explanation?
My reasoning is that when unwary users like yours truly run an example without reading any documentation , the error messages resulting from the preset triggers (although not affecting functionality) are disconcerting.
Thanks very much for RoboIntern, by the way! This appears very promising indeed.
I saw article on Ghacks today about your software and I can tell you as first time user it looks impressive and has lot's of potential.
Professionally I work for printing company and I am using automation software Switch in combination with some other tools, both free and commercial.
Here is first list of Feature Requests that would expand Robointern's potential:
-Support for Regex, especially when it comes to renaming
-Support for Javascript actions
-Support for Metadata
-Option to Import/Export Actions
-Ability to group actions (if possible to group activate/deactivate them, too).
Hi. I seem to be missing a file that I apparently need for installation. I don't know whether I've done something incorrectly or not. Any suggestions about how I can resolve this issue would be appreciated. I've copied the details from the installation fail message below:
